Planning a Flight

Default Navaid, Airport and Magnetic Variation data in FS2004, FSX and P3D are ancient whereas X-Plane makes use of a very current AIRAC Cycle. This forces us to issue two versions of the Flight Descriptions for each flight which places an enormous load on the World Rally planning and flight testing team.

For each flight, we provide a SkyVector flight plan. For FS2004/FSX/P3D you will find that, due to the ancient data, the headings, distances, frequencies and even geographic locations of navaid/airports may differ greatly from what is in SkyVector. Again, X-Plane will be very close to data published in SkyVector.

For this World Rally, the provided SkyVector map will be your main source of information. Your “flight description” will be a rough guide on how to fly the flight. Please use the attached empty flight plan form to properly plan your flight.
